My sibling love this recipe and they never get enough eating this. Thanks to them for being so supportive every time when I'm try to cook for them!
Next time, I shall try to cook the carbonara sauce by myself rather than using the ready made Prego sauce. I use to cook basil pesto previously and it taste so good! ha ha!
Ingredients prepare list as below:
- 10 pcs of Shiitake Mushroom
- A tin of Prego Cheese & Herbs
- 4 slice of Smoked Bacon
- 4 cups of Macaroni
- 1 cups of Drinking Water
- 2 tablespoon of Butter
- 1 tablespoon of All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 tablespoon of Salt
- 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper
- 3 slice of Cheese
All of this ingredients can get from Cold Storage Gurney Plaza. You can get the smoked streaky bacon at the non-halal sessions, it cost around RM12.
Same to the bacon, slice into small piece and you may add in some black pepper with it.
Put a side and ready to use after finish cutting down this two ingredients.
1. Melt the 2 tablespoon of butter in the pans, add in the bacon to cook untill crisp.
2. Add in mushroom slice saute until golden.
3. Use another pot add in a tin of prego together with a cup of drinking water.
4. Add in the chopped mushroom crush pieces and 3 slice of cheese.
5. Add in the bacon and mushroom which you cook just now.

6. Adjust to small-medium heat and add in a tablespoon of flour and 1/2 tablespoon salt.
7. Boil some water and put in your macaroni.
8. Add in 1/2 salt and 1/2 of olive oil. Cook around 20 minute will do.
Tadaaa..! Here it is! This is our Sunday homecook lunch! Yummy!
