Kaffa de Espresso Bar- a nice place which I want to recommend to you guys! The cafe is nicely decorated with a retro and antique theme. Cafe Espresso Bar located in Green Hall, take your left exits before you reach Dewan Sri Penang or when you see Western Spices Restaurant. The cafe on your right hand side and it is apposite Segi College Penang.

Having a tea break and chit chat time with Shirley again. Both of us are cafe lover and so we like to visit new places and hunt for cakes together. Let back to the topic, I love the setting of the cafe, it's more spacious comparatively to some homely cafe. It has plenty electrical socket there, so I guess it will be a good news for segian, right? A nice place to hang out with classmates for assignment disscusion.  *I will do this if I'm still studying in Segi ! wakaka! Enjoy the moment to the max if you still can hang out always with your classmates! I miss that much!

The outlook of Kaffa Espresso Bar. I think tiffany blue is their signature color.

My Piccolo Latte with kaffa ceramic vintage cup. RM8
According to their staff told that their signature drink is Salted Caramel Macchiato which cost RM12 but I didn't try it that day because I'm just craving of Latte suddenly.

Shirley's Red Velvet cake, she loves red velvet cake so much. It is tender but it tastes a bit too dry contains but the cream taste heavy buttermilk. Personally think that quite okay but too dry contains for me!

My chocolate moist cake, I love this so much and definitely will bring my sister (super chocolate lover) come and try on this! I can; t believe that I finished eating this! Fat die! But it really tastes delicious! The sweetness and moisture of the cake contains is just enough "ngam ngam ho" for me!

Large table available ! Definitely your choice for family gathering or a big gang gathering.

The second sections of ground floor, dim lighting and cozy ambience with retro decoration.

Moustache Houze Cafe Penang

Continuing from my previous post, we switched to Moustache Houze Cafe for our little tea time. It's not only a cafe which selling cakes and coffee but also a guest house at second and third floors. The cafe located at the end of Campbell street, you will notice the big Moustache signboard if you walk along the Campbell street thus it is not difficult to find the cafe.

The cafe has their own special interior design with mural paint which make the cafe feel cozy and warms. Besides, they remake the steel pipe as bookshelves with all the travelling books and magazine.

It's been very crowded that day when we visit there but luckily we manage to get an empty table at the right corner of the cafe.

The menu and order counter, the cafe is operated as self service so if you want to take orders need to proceed to the counter instead of blur blur waiting at your table. Oh yea, pay first before you enjoy the cakes and coffees.

View from top.

The menu. They just sell cakes, coffee, tea and juices. It's a high tea cafe actually.
But, they do have their signature Syphon Coffee.

Mural Painting in the cafe. It's actually a photography area prepared with a nice light setting there.

Moustache Tree which painted by one of the cafe owners.

Vintage decorations in the cafe.

Comfortable Wooden Swing Chair

Chocolate Mille Crepe RM11.90 (left) Yam Crepe Cake RM10.90 (right)
I prefer to have the Yam Crepe Cake which tastes so delicious compare to the chocolate mille crepe which taste normal. I quite like their mille crepe because the sweetness is just enough.

Chocolate Walnut RM11.90
Full chocolate moist cake with walnut which having a right taste, won't taste over sweet also! I just can't stand with some chocolate moist cake which are over sweet or over bitter. This Chocolate Walnut is just perfect and definitely a good choice for chocolate lover!

Cappuccino RM9.90

Another signature drink which is the top hit in Moustache Houze is their Ice Cube drink. With a choice of kiwi, strawberry, pineapple that served with soda or chocolate and espresso which serves with milk. I order a chocolate with milk, the chocolate being chill into ice cubes and served with fresh milk. It's quite a special idea to serve drinks.

Chocolate with Milk RM12.90
(My own comment, the price for this drinks is a little overprice..How do you think? )

Strawberry with Soda RM11.90

After mixing! Strawberry Soda!

Different design of wall painting with moustache design in the guestroom on second floor. RM80 per night, but it is not ready yet. For more details, you can inquire in their Facebook.

Even their toilets are also deco with moustache logo! How cute it is! By the way, I like the wooden toilet door, it looks so clean and antique.

At last, while chit chat and having delicious cakes in their cafe. Don't forget to have some photoshooting fun with the mustache props that prepared by the cafe!

Darling with the moustache props!

Attention please, after playing around with the moustache props, please kindly return to the counter or the staff there. According to the cafe owner, the props always disappear mysteriously.

The Camera Museum Penang

I have a "Double Date" with my girl and her boyfriend when she comes back from Kl for a short break. We headed to the camera museum in Penang which located on Muntri Street in Georgetown heritage area. (Next to Moon Tree 47 Cafe)

I accidentally found this place last week when I lost in the jungle of love lane while driving. *hehe
So, I decide to pay a visit to figure out what there is about and I doesn't hear about Penang have any camera museum before.

Here we go, the ground floor of the museum separated into 3 parts. The front section  is filled with old vintage camera and photography art gallery while the second sections are a souvenir shop and the last sections is a cafe for tea break. The upper floor is still under renovation during my visit but according to the person in charge told that second floor will include an obscura room (dark room) for activities and a collection of over a hundred units of antique camera shows up.

Here is the outlook of Camera Museum! You can spot the signboard when you walk on Muntri Street.

Tada..! An antique bling bling vintage gold camera set up outside the camera museum.

A giant camera spotted once you enter the museum.
Oops! This is for decoration and photograph purpose only but not a real camera!

The MUST-DO'S for the visitor as a directory for visitor!
A big antique camera located in the front session.
The camera looks like what we got to see when we watch the old Chinese movie especially the movie about 1950s- 1960s years which Chinese start to bring in English product into their place.

Darling playing around with the antique camera.
You can request assistance from the staff there about how to use on this camera and about their history too. They are kind to assist you on it!

Along the museum there is a lot of photo canvas shows the history of the camera and how does camera affecting our life. Imagine how our life be if without a camera?
I have never asked myself about it before! Things may change every minute but the pictures never change, the precious moment that we catch down in a picture will never change..

Danny Tan's photography exhibitions
Before entering the gift shop section, there is a corner ready for photography exhibition with perfect lighting set up. I visit there in August thus has a chance to have a look at Danny Tan's photography.
**No photography is allowed in the exhibition section so no picture can share with you guys.

Danny Tan 's profile
Danny's photo is so amazingly beautiful ! I was like Wow! His photography has printed on canvas and ready for sale!
Nice quotes! How do you think ?
Cacao Kaca~ Did you notice that, the camera in this photo is actually 3D and built half in the wall ! Nice idea!

The second section is the souvenir shop, there are various camera theme product selling here. Such as t-shirt, keychain, necklace, bag, cup, cards, camera lens and so on. You should pay there a visit if you are a camera fever fan!

Bags/ DSLR Cups/ Lomo Cam Toys and so on!

Accessories about camera! Necklaces and Earrings!

1950s Large Format Camera~
A gentle reminder given by the museum, "The camera is really really old, if you wanna touch him please ask for assistance." Cooperate with them and make sure we didn't spoil the antique thus more people have a chance to look at it!

The last section of the museum is an open cafe, but too bad we didn't have much time to have a tea break in there because we are in a hurry to visit another "hot spot" cafe in Penang. Guess where? (* I will update it in my next post! Stay Tune! hehe)  But, I definitely will revisit to the museum again for the cafe and obscure room in the upper floor. Hope will have another great experience from the museum again.
